Paintings

I believe I’ve always painted. Long before I knew it had a name.”

I drew on the backs of my sheet music, in my notebooks, on any loose sheets of paper lying around, sometimes even on my clothes. Everywhere there was a little empty space, there had to be a line, a circle, a color, some kind of tiny world.

I often just painted when I was bored. But maybe it was never really just boredom. Maybe it was my way of diving into another world, letting my thoughts flow, and being completely with myself for a moment.

A few years ago, I decided to give this small part of me more space. I no longer wanted to paint only on the side, in between sheet music, everyday life, and all the things that had to be done. I wanted real canvases. Real colors. A small place just for me.

So I set up a small painting corner in my study. Nothing big, nothing perfect – just a little space where the colors wait for me and I’m allowed to forget about time for a while.

And when I stand in front of a blank canvas today, it sometimes still feels just like it used to: a white space full of possibilities. And somewhere in between, I find myself.

The sea paintings:

I do not paint the sea as an adventure, but as a place of retreat and silence. The deep blue, the boat beneath the moon – these are my personal spaces of escape. When I paint these scenes, I am not here, but there, on the horizon where the world ends.

My Forests & Trees:

These are my favorites. Violet, gray, mystical—like from a dream world or another time. When I paint them, I lose myself and at the same time find myself again.

My Mountain Landscapes:

I create them to show the tension between grandeur and security. The snow-capped mountains, the green meadows, the mists—they speak of hope and transformation. Every sunrise is a new beginning that I wish for.

The Border – My Series

I painted these works to show the invisible lines that exist between two worlds – and how this border itself is alive. I paint the border because I believe that is where the magic lies – where two worlds meet, where ice and fire coexist, where the tree becomes human and human becomes earth. The invisible line is the pulse of life itself.

The Eye of the Owl

I paint perfect symmetry – two worlds mirrored against each other. The glowing golden eyes see everything: above, the mountains in pastels and purple, below, the burning earth in red and gold. The border runs through the middle like a flash of recognition. This owl is the observer of metamorphosis.

The Moment

Here I paint the impossible: a figure of ice and blue on one side, on the other the desert in red and heat. A withered tree stands between them – a monument of transformation. The border is not just a line; it is a space where everything transforms.

The Tree of Two Faces

The trunk becomes a human silhouette, the roots divide into two profiles. The tree is the human and the human is the tree. The green leaves fall like tears. Everything is anchored in red earth – the matter from which we all come.

The Inverted Horizon

The tree carries a lake in its head. The border between above and below disappears. Mountains become water, water becomes sky. Metamorphosis is complete – nothing remains fixed, everything flows.

The Border

From above I see the truth of the border: red sand and blue sea meet in a line. A white stripe separates them, but also connects them at the same time.

Will-o‘-the-Wisps of Life

The will-o‘-the-wisps of life play around us. Sometimes they show us the right way, sometimes they lead us by the nose or disappear entirely, hiding their eyes in the shadow of time.
